Check, check. One-Two. Check. One. Two. Can anyone hear me?
Yes?
Good…’cause it’s Tuesday and there is always new music to tell you about on Tuesday, so let’s get this party started.
Vancouver-duo, The Pack A.D., are snapping back on to the scene with the release of a new EP today, Some SSSongs. Doing everything in style, they also confirmed today that they will be releasing a full album on January 28 and will be calling it Do Not Engage. And if that wasn’t enough, they also released this video for the song “Battering Ram,” which is the first single off of today’s EP.
If you are really looking for the quintessential dance party sound, than you should check out the latest single “Was That It?” from the newly formed, Toronto-based Ark Analog. The duo is made up of Maylee Todd and Woodhands frontman Dan Werb, who are collaborating on what they are calling a “dance-pop project” and they are projecting dance-pop all over the place.
Also new-ish (released Aug 20), is the release from Nick Buzz (A side project from Martin Tielli and some of his friends) Quiet Evening At Home today. The album comes across as a happy mix of choas and order and is really one more way for Tielli to indulge in his famous need to produce music that is avant garde and yet surprisingly gut wrenching.
