Mixtape magazine presents the exclusive premiere of “Go To Bed” by English Words.
Charlottetown band English Words return with the second video from their award-winning album Red Potion. The electronic indie-poppers video for “Go To Bed” was made with Millefiore Clarkes of One Thousand Flowers, the same director for their previous video for “People I Love“.
The video was filmed in one night on the stage of The Guild in Charlottetown, the same stage that synth player Aaron Crane spent his summer playing the character Moody Spurgeon MacPherson in the musical production Anne and Gilbert.
While the band continues to promote Red Potion, they have begun working on a new EP set to be released in the fall. Lead singer Ryan Crane says “the way things are shaping up it might sound a little faster, crazier and rugged than the last one.”
English Words have a number of tour dates coming up over the next few weeks starting with a show at Hunter’s Ale House in Charlottetown on Friday, January 31 as part of Music PEI Week.
