
Shad shares story of turning down video game deal for NBA 2K12
Basketball has been the centre of the sports universe this past week after racist comments from Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. The NBA handed down a lifetime ban and $2.5 million fine. The whole ordeal has prompted responses from current players, former players, the U.S. President and countless others. Canadian rapper Shad shared one of his experiences with basketball and turning down an opportunity to licence a track for the video game NBA 2K12 as well as weighing in on the Sterling situation.

Doomsquad head to Europe, share new video

Halifax indie rocker Joel Plaskett announced he has signed to Pheromone Recordings. His new album, the follow up to 2012’s Scrappy Happiness, is scheduled for release in early 2015.
