Earlier this fall, Amy Cole announced she was stepping back from the Rural Alberta Advantage. Remaining members Nils Edenloff and Paul Banwatt thanked Amy and said the band would carry on with Robin Hatch rounding out the trio. Hatch, also a member of Sheezer and Our Lady Peace, joined the band in the summer. RAA is in the process of road-testing and writing new material for a fourth album, the follow up to 2014’s Mended With Gold.
The 27-second clip from the track “White Lights” starts off with acoustic guitar, then adds in drums but cuts off before any lyrics. I guess that’s why they call it a teaser. On Soundcloud, the band writes “The full version of this new song from The Rural Alberta Advantage will be available soon.” So if you’re a fan of the band, keep an eye out for the full version of the song soon.
